Greetings and Welcome!

If you are here you can see that our content is being updated.  While we have completed 2025 legislator scores, we are still working on some housekeeping with our menus and 2025 data content.  Below are a few communications to inform our readers on various changes.

Changes We Made Between 2025 and 2023

  1. We did not use Evidence Based Wyoming tool to generate Constitutional Competence scores for 2025. We instead employed a manual method which we will likely employ for future scoring.
  2. For Constitutional Competence scores in 2023 we considered all votes on a bill including Committee of the Whole and votes on any amendments.  For 2025 we only considered Committee votes and 3rd Reading votes.
  3. For each legislator in 2025 we added tables with Travel Reimbursement details – these tables are found under the “More Data” tab for each legislator.
  4. We skipped a year and did not cover 2024 scores, with the primary reason being the amount of volunteer time that is required to research, amass and organize this much content. Usage of this site by Wyoming citizens will determine if we will update our content on a yearly basis or every-other year.

Other Notes for 2025

Three legislators did not receive 2025 final ranking or scores for the following reasons:

  • House District 10 Representative Justin Fornstrum was appointed on Dec 6, 2025 by Laramie County Commissioners to replace John Eklund who unfortunately passed away November 14, 2025. Thus Fornstrum has no 2025 legislative session votes to be graded on.
  • House District 59 Representative J.R Riggins unfortunately had to undergo emergency heart surgery early in 2025 Legislative Session and thus missed much of session. For this reason we are not grading or rating Riggins for 2025 legislative session.
  • Senator Taft Love for District 6 was sworn in on September 9, 2025 to replace former Senator Darin Smith who resigned to serve as the U.S. Attorney for the District of Wyoming. Thus Love has no 2025 legislative session votes to be graded on.
