Lee Filer was elected in 2024 as Representative for House District 44 in Laramie County. He defeated incumbent Tamara Trujillo in the Republican Primary. Filer is former state representative of House District 12 (2013-2014).
He is up for reelection in 2026.
“I believe in the process of true governance by the people, not by a certain caucus,” Filer told the WTE via email. “I think these divides have actually hurt our legislative process.”
