“An act relating to the protection of constitutional rights; prohibiting the disclosure or use of information relating to firearms and ammunition sales.”

This bill is a very straightforward bill that addresses privacy rights of citizens in regards to their right to bear arms and ammunition.  The constitutional provisions below support HB0234.

United States Constitution

Amendment 4
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Wyoming State Constitution

Article 1, Section 4
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers and effects against unreasonable searches and seizures shall not be violated, and no warrant shall issue but upon probable cause, supported by affidavit, particularly describing the place to be searched or the person or thing to be seized.
